We received a lot of excellent information a while ago from you, our capable advisors thanks RedRoxand based on that, we planned our 2-week vacation in Arizona and a bit of Colorado at Mesa Verdeduring first half of September. At this point we are a somehow stuck with arrangements in Page, so I am again turning to you. We will be there 2 nights, arriving from GC Asi Company early PM on the 11th, and leaving on the 13th morning; staying at Debbie's Hideaway.

We did some research on the Antelope Canyon Antelope Canyon Tour Company Reviews, and at this point we understand that we cannot make reservations or Photo tour reservations for the Lower Canyon. But we can - and probably have to - for the Upper Canyon. As there are different tour companies, could you advise us with which company to reserve both for a regular tour and a Photo tour for the Upper.

As long as I am asking questions, any thoughts on taking a boat tour on Powell Lake, what kind, what time of the day. You're right about not needing a reservation for the Lower Canyon. My family and I just got back two weeks ago from the Page area. We did the lower canyon and loved it! The ideal time to see the lower canyon is early in the morning during the summer months they open at 8am in the summer or late afternoon.

Unlike the upper canyon, which gets the great lighting in mid-day, you want to avoid the mid-day lighting when trying to photograph the lower canyon. Just show up at the gate, pay your fee and take a tour. If you have a SLR camera AND a tripod, you can obtain a photographer's pass which allows you to go through by yourself for two hours. We had 9 people in our group and our guide did a GREAT job at pointing out the great shots, advising how to set your camera and ensuring that everyone was out of each other's photos so you have pristine photos.

Perhaps some other folks here can suggest a tour company for the upper canyon, though I suspect that they'd all do a nice job. Though Reva Company didn't take any tours of the lake, we got some great feedback from some folks we met while in Page about taking a kayak tour of the lake.

They take you back into some of the nooks and crannies which makes for some fun and interesting adventures. I am of the opinion that you don't need to wait for mid day to enjoy an excellent experience and photo ops at Antelope Canyonupper or lower.

I always drive to the tribal park on my own and pick up the next available tour, ideally when crowds are light. We also just drive to the parkinglot and take a tour for Antelope Canyon Tour Company Reviews but if you want to take a tour from Page you can try Ekis, Tsosie or Overlander. We still liked midday best for Upper because of the sunbeams reaching the canyon floor and I agree with Gwen best for Lower to do that in the morning.

Same goes for Horseshoebend morning but you didnot mention it. Thank you, all three, for excellent advice.

We will follow it, and I am sure we will have an extraordinary experience. There are many different boat tours on Lake Powell. I took the one that goes out to the Natural Bridge. It is long about 3hrs. The natural scenery is wonderful. There is a ranger stationed there to tell you a little about the area. But I would say the boat trip there Questionmark Company back is really what it is all about.

Especially if you haven;y experenced the area before. If you don't have the time for the Rainbow Bridge cruise you also can take a shorter cruise to Antelope Canyon but that's not the same as the landtour.

Boats leave from Lake Powell Resort. Thank you both for the advice. Now I understand that there are choices. It will depend how much time we will have. Antelope Canyon Tours by Roger Ekis (Page) - 2020 All You ...

Feb 27, 2020 · We enjoyed the drive from Monument Valley to Page and the tour of Upper Antelope Canyon is not at all strenuous. I would recommend booking well in advance at that time of the year as it books out very quickly and that is the only downfall of Antelope Canyon - so many tourists stopping constantly for photos rather than taking in the magnificence of the canyon.4.5/5(6.1K)…

Which tour company for Upper Antelope Canyon? - TripAdvisor

None of the above. Just drive to the tribal park and join the next tour there. Every tour in a Antelope Canyon is exactly the same, unless you pay the premium for the photographers tour, in which case you simply get more time.. The tours you list above all rendezvous in downtown Page and then transport you to the tribal park entrance for the exact same tours.…
